Wish Granters
Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northwest Ohio serves children in
21 counties, and wish-granting volunteers are needed to help make
wishes come true. A team of two trained volunteers meet with each
wish family to determine the child's wish, and provide personal touches
to help make the wish even more memorable and special. Wish granters
must be 21-years-old and willing to travel within an hour of their
home. All wish granters must become registered volunteers and attend

Internships
Those involved with
the Make-A-Wish Foundation have an opportunity to make a difference
every day! Make-A-Wish Foundation takes
pride in its internship program and has internship positions
available in Special Events, Volunteer Services, Corporate Development/Marketing,
Public Relations/Communications, and Wish Granting. Internships
are available throughout the year in the Toledo office. These
internships are non-paid; however the Foundation will work with
students who wish to receive school credit for their experience.
Individuals interested in applying for any of these internship
opportunities can send their resume and cover letter to the attention

Kids for Wish Kids
Kids for Wish Kids is a program designed for local schools, churches, and youth organizations that gives students the opportunity to sponsor wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Being part of Kids for Wish Kids fosters concepts including:
Community Service
Creativity
Entrepreneurship
Leadership
Money Management
School Spirit
Volunteerism
Students manage the program from start to finish. They form the committee, develop fundraising ideas, and put the plan into action. Teachers and parents are advisors, but the ownership of the fundraiser is to the kids involved.
Kids for Wish Kids shows the value of community service by providing a hands-on experience to help raise funds that are necessary to grant wishes while building school spirit and creating partnerships between children and advisors outside the classroom. Every child will have a life changing experience as they come together to Share the power of a wish® !

College/University
Stars Groups
Know a college or university student who is looking to get involved in something
really special? Students interested can start their own Stars group and work
with the Foundation to host fund-raising events in which the money raised
is used to grant the wish of a particular child their group has sponsored.
Past examples of fundraisers include talent shows, bake offs, and car washes,
and corn hole tournaments among others. For more information about how you

Organize an Event
Join in the fun and plan your own special event to benefit the Make-A-Wish
Foundation® of Northwest Ohio. The events can be anything
from a car wash to a dinner dance to a golf outing. No matter
what the event, the Foundation is grateful for this support and
recognizes the importance of these fundraisers. To help guide
