There are many volunteer opportunities of all kinds throughout the year. They include event help, office help, wish granting, and various other tasks. Emily's Wish was to meet Horse Trainer,
Kristin Mulhall because she loves horses and was so impressed
by how young and successfule Kristin was. Her wish came true. She ot ony Met Kristin but she met a lot of other Horse Trainers at the Santa Anna Track, She was also treated to a Horse and Buggy ride, lunch with Kristin, and she received an autographed sadle. One
of the races that day was named the Make-A-Wish Race in
honor of Emily. She had a wonderful time and said this
was truly a dream come true for the horse enthusiast. |

Gina's
wish was to see how behind the
scenes of a TV set. She wanted to
see how things worked from a Director's
eye. Gina and her family were
invited to the set of Disney's TV
Show Cory in the House. The
cast and crew were so fun and kind
to the family. They invited
to stay and have lunch and dinner
with them, showed them around the
set and even let Gina sit on the
set and take some pictures. She
said it was more than she ever
dreamed and Gina and her family
had a wonderful
time and enjoyed the cast and crew
very much!! |
